The Mission Bottle Sling is highly praised for its excellent quality, well-made sling, and comfortable adjustable strap. It is designed to securely carry water bottles and includes a large front pocket for essentials.

"I have a Ti, Grayl Geopress and the French Press add-on, I got the Mission Sling Bag to carry it all in but it barely fits. The geopress sticks out the top of the sling bag by about 2" and has just two little bungie cords on the sides keeping it from coming out. That did not give me a warm fuzzy feeling considering the price of the Ti Geopress, and the fact that losing it while out in the world would cause possible issues with having clean safe water (and coffee) I made a bungie cord strap that holds mine in much more securely so that isn't an issue now. I can now carry the complete Geopress, and a second 500ml titanium cup (the Grayl nests in it) with its lid in the main sling pouch and the French Press add-on, a ti spork, and a small titanium twig burner stove in the zippered pocket on the front. I ferro rod and a slim folding knife on one side of the sling and a small molle pouch on the other side holds a micro-cord setup and some fat wood and waxed jute twine for use in the twig burner. When I figure out which G-Mod pouch will hold a decent amount of coffee and creamer packets I will order those and be able to carry everything I need for a good cup of clean, purified water made coffee anywhere in the world."
"The removeable strap is very appealing and the add-on attachment points are perfectly situated. Super handy and convenient when I just don't feel like carry more than I need."
"Not had a chance to fully test but as with all grayl products I own, it’s extremely well built. I assume it will work incredibly well with a long life."
"I ordered the MBS from Grayl and received the product promptly. It is well made and pretty handy. Overall I have used it once so far and a couple of things could be improved. When I first put it on, my grayl bottle slid out. This could be mitigated by a snap or Velcro retention piece that holds the bottle in place. Another thing I noticed is the sling padding could use more padding for better comfort. I like it and will continue to use grayl products."
"This sling is well made and offers many configurations."
"Well made and light weight! It a good recommendation for this bag."
"really like it, has all the features i need and the workmanship is very good"
"I recently received my mission sling, it's a good pack but I have a couple of little niggles, the bottle wants to lie at an angle rather than hang towards the floor which is a little bit frustrating and with the pathfinder nesting cup lid at the bottom of the main compartment I can't quite get the drawstrings around the narrow below the lid making me feel it is not as secure as it could be"
"The Mission bottle sling arrived perfectly sewn, and actually held a 50 ounce bottle. Not sure if I will use it however. Since I prefer the sling about waist high under my left arm it was easy to adjust the lower clip and strap length. The front pouch depth doesn’t allow much gear so I’m glad I ordered 2 flat pouches and a pod to place on the strap. Equipped with all that gear I had a perfect hiking/survival kit (in case it turns into an overnight stay). I‘ve been parading around the house suited up hoping not to scare my neighbors but I needed to get a feel for how everything fits until hiking season starts. Thanks for reliable, comfortable top notch gear"
