G-Mod allows me to configure
"G-Mod allows me to configure my sling to my on the fly travels. Appreciate the rugged design, look and feel. I’m officially Grayl convert."
Expand on any Grayl® Carry Project pack with G-Mod Pod Pouches. These little buggers are always useful for those easy-to-lose keys or earbuds. With a velcro back and a security snap hook, these connect with ease on multiple landing pads for each pack style.
We are all in on velcro and backing it up with security metal o-ring and snap hook. You can place G-Mod Pods in two landing pads on every shoulder strap, and also on the front of hip packs and full size styles.
Although it would be much easier to put full faith in the Carry Project velcro landing pads, things will get bumped, or tugged out of position. We’ve placed powdercoated iron o-rings for easy snap-in security.
Those AirPods can get expensive. We use top-of-the-line PU coated Aquaguard YKK® zippers and pulls for better protection in wet weather, so you don’t have to file a warranty claim on your earbuds.
The backside of every G-Mod Pod has a velcro flap that covers the scrathcy velcro hook. This flap also has it’s own slip pocket when not in use. You can also use a G-Mod Pod to clip to a belt loop and commute away from the main pack.
We won’t tell you how to use your G-Mod Pods. Get creative. In this example a “Pod” is being used front facing on a shoulder strap to carry doggy poop bags.

"Nice addition to the Grayl water purifier sling to add a desired small snack or tool for your hiking experience."
"This item is top notch. The zipper is very durable. The material is snag proof and although it is good quality, it is too small for my use, so I ordered the larger mod pod."
"It’s a great little piece of gear. Glad I got it."
"Durable material and highly customizable."
"The Grayl g mod pod pouch came along with a mission sling and 2 flat pouches to help make a complete hiking kit. Fast shipping meant I was positioning and adjusting everything about 6 days after ordering. The quality of the pod was top notch although I was surprised by the lack of capacity (large). Every piece adequately served its purpose however as the pod housed a small IFAK. The fit and finish is amazingly near perfect. I may scuff up the exterior just a little before starting out so that no one suspects I’m a noob. Thanks Grayl for making me look like a Kardashian out for a hike. Hope to continue adding to my gear."
"Good size fits small items and keeps them organized. Very well made."
"Def a great add on to the exp hip pack love how versatile and modular it is. . ."
"After reading the reviews, I knew sizing might be an issue, and many people mentioned the bags were smaller than expected. I ordered the Medium, and while the overall size is probably workable, the design makes it feel more limited in real-world use. My biggest complaint is the zipper opening. It's fairly narrow, and since most carry setups position the pouch vertically, smaller items like ChapStick, AirPods, or other loose essentials can easily slide to the bottom. When you open the pouch to grab something, those smaller items feel like they're at risk of falling out. There is a small internal divider, but once you have a few items in the main compartment, accessing anything stored in that divider becomes difficult. It doesn't add as much organization as I had hoped. In my opinion, the Medium and Large sizes seem better suited for carrying one larger item or a few bulkier items. If your primary use is organizing smaller everyday items like ChapStick, AirPods, snacks, or keys, the Small might actually be the better choice. The sizing decision would have been much easier if I could have seen all three sizes in person before ordering. At this point, I don't feel like dealing with a return, so I'll make the Medium work for my needs. For now, it'll carry the basics—ChapStick, a Clif Bar, and AirPods—but if I were ordering again, I'd seriously consider the Small instead."
"Love all the gear."
