"Seems to work well but came with a chip on the inner chamber that connects to the filter. Doesn't affect the function immediately but could see it failing after more uses. Unfortunately, company wouldn't give a replacement for the part despite it being chipped on arrival."

"The cap itself is, well, a cap. Twists on fine made well. However, I feel the cap should somehow be attached to the lid itself. The reason we had to order a new cap is, on a recent trip to South America, Peru specifically, where the water is not drinkable. A porter dropped the water bottle and the spout cap came off and he didn't notice. So, far, far away and the bottle could not be used for hiking and adventures."

Safer than not filtering and reduces bottled water.

"Safer than not filtering and reduces buying bottled water. I haven’t tested all that it filters. I have used it sometimes at work when the water tastes funny, during boil water notices, and when hiking/backpacking. I do question on the purification part. I tested the water post filter with a TDS tester and the result is the same as tap water pre-filter. Not sure if that should be the case. I would still use and recommend the product with questionable waters. Especially if traveling in other countries."

Q&A

Passt diese Kappe auch auf die Ultrapress Titanium 500 ml?: It will not. The Ti versions of the Grayl purifier bottles require their respective replacement components.
Is there a cap with a tether attachment so they won't fall in the creek like mine did? Need one for the ultra press.: Good afternoon, the UltraPress does not have a replacement cap option that includes a tether. We have seen some customers use a camera lens tether as a substitute.
