Working Great with Replacement Inner Sleeve and Outer Cup

"I got a replacement outer cup and inner sleeve on my Grayl Ultrapress after replacing the filter cartridge. It’s working great now. No leaks and I feel confident taking it on hikes and search and rescue missions. It’s nice having a water filtration option that will filter out all concerns."

Replacement cartridge

"I bought this cartridge since I already had the spout that would fit on it to update my ultra press"

I recently contacted Grayl due

"I recently contacted Grayl due to a leak in my UltraPress which had developed on a camping trip to the Southwest. I'm not sure why it began leaking at the top seal but it could very well have been the heat to which it was exposed. I don't know. What I do know is that when I contacted Grayl about the problem, they promptly and without argument diagnosed that problem and sent me a new inner press - no charge. I have used the UltraPress all over the world and have never gotten ill from drinking the water and feel good about the amount of plastic bottles that the UltraPress has kept out of landfills and the ocean. This is a great product and a great company!"

My UltraPress was leaking. I

"My UltraPress was leaking. I noticed that the outer cup was no longer perfectly round. I reached out to customer service and out of an abundance of caution they sent both the inner and outer cup to be replaced. Problem solved."

Replacement inner press

"I use my Ultrapress daily. I use while traveling, training and at work. The replacement inner press fixed my leak that I was experiencing. My Ultrapress gets used and abused daily and I consistently without fail get better tasting and clearer water"

After the first round

"So I bought the Grayl ultra lite after doing a lot of research and using a lot of other products such as Sawyer, Lifestraw, UV and pills. So round one my Grayl which was purchased from a reputable third party would leak if it was not upright. This was problematic in a car, in a pack or if it was on its side. I had only owned this a short time so I reached out to Grayl and explained the issue. Grayl stood behind there product and sent me a new cup and a new inner with no charge. I am heading into week two with zero issues with the Grayl after replacing these parts. I am headed out backpacking next week and after that I will do a follow up review. Thanks Grayl for standing by your product. Joe L."

Top Seal leaking

"My inner and outer seal was replaced allowing me to use my Grayl again. Ten stars for standing behind your product!"

Q&A

Will this replacement Inner Press convert the Discontinued Ultralight to use the new UltraPress filters?
The discontinued Ultralight purifier bottle is already compatible with UltraPress filter cartridges. There is no need for a new inner press. UltraPress inner presses are not compatible with the Ultralight.
Can I swap in this plastic part for my titanium Ultra press save a few ounces? So I guess the real question is what is the weight of inner titanium cup versus plastic?
The plastic and titanium bottle components are not interchangeable with each other so you are not able to mix and match.
How much does this part weigh?
The UltraPress® Replacement Inner Press comes in at 72 grams (2.54oz).
What is the inside dimensions of the UltraPress Inner Press? I have the Geo, so wanted to compare.
The UltraPress® Replacement Inner Press is not compatible with the GeoPress. The inner diameter of the UltraPress is roughly 2.5" while that of the GeoPress is around 3"
